hank you for your interest in the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course offered through EM-Teaching.

The PALS course is based on the latest American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and ECC. It is designed to equip pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in infants and children, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.

Key skills covered in the PALS course include:

• Early recognition and management of pediatric patients at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest

• Systematic pediatric assessment

• Effective airway and respiratory management

• Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion

• Intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration

• High-performance team dynamics and communication

Flexible Learning Option:

EM-Teaching has partnered with the American Heart Association to offer a convenient, blended learning format. This allows participants to complete the didactic portion online—from home or work—at their own pace. The hands-on practical component can then be completed in a short session at our simulation lab.
